Gold Award Application

The Gold Award requires validation by the Online Compass team. To achieve the Gold Award, your ratings should be at least amber for all parts but also include at least nine parts also rated as green.  As this is a prestigious achievement it will involve a visit from an Online Compass assessor.

Groups  applying for the Gold Award must ensure that they provide a detailed commentary for each part in the tool, describing their provision for that part. The description should include a summary of their provision for that part (showing how they meet the required levels) and some information of how this provision is being developed. This will allow the assessors to judge whether or not that group is likely to be successful in its application

When applying for the Gold Award you must provide a copy of your Group's Online Safety Policy. This evidence must be uploaded by clicking on the "Upload Supporting Information" button. It is strongly recommended that you should have carried out Impact Assessment Surveys and that these are available as evidence for Assessors.
